Is PriceMyPills a pharmacy?

No. PriceMyPills only helps patients find the right pharmacy that provides them with maximum savings on their prescription. We are not a pharmacy and don’t accept or fill prescriptions for patients.

No. At PriceMyPills, your privacy is of paramount importance. We ensure that your information remains secure and is shared only once you choose to unlock it to the right pharmacy. Once you acknowledge the bid offered by a pharmacy on your medication, your profile gets unlocked and the pharmacy you have chosen is the only one who gets your demographic information to reach out to you.

Your information will never be shared by PriceMyPills with any pharmacy other than the one you choose. When you ask for an estimate from our member pharmacies, we only share your medication name, strength, quantity, price, and zip code with our member pharmacies to get their bids. You can also control who can or cannot view your information in your privacy settings.

Saving on your medication through PriceMyPills is simple:

  1. Register on our patient portal.
  2. Enter the data related to your prescription such as the name, strength, quantity, and how much you pay for a particular medication ( If you haven’t received the medication before then simply put down cash option and never received it”).
  3. Our member pharmacies will send their estimate for your prescription.
  4. Choose the pharmacy that best fits your needs and place your order to get the maximum savings on your prescription.
Yes. We charge a nominal $1 per month for using the portal to unlock big savings on your medication.
No. At PriceMyPills our ultimate objective is to provide any patient with maximum savings on their prescription. You don’t need to have insurance to use our services. Even if you do have insurance, a high- or low-copay does not matter to use the services offered by PriceMyPills.
Once you register as a patient, simply log in on the patient portal using your username and password to either create a new order to submit for bidding. However, we highly recommend you keep all the medication together to submit for the bidding to get the best rate possible as a bundled offer. Alternately you can also manage your existing medication orders with the member pharmacies chosen by you.

Will the name of my pharmacy be revealed to competing member pharmacies when I send an estimate to a patient’s prescription?

No. We do not allow competing pharmacies to see who is sending an estimate for a prescription. The names of the pharmacies bidding on a patient’s medication are kept anonymous until the patient selects any of the random prices quoted by the pharmacies. We assign specific codes to all our member pharmacies, and patients can only view these codes when they receive the bidding prices. The pharmacy’s name is revealed to the patient only after they select a particular code that best matches their price expectation.
To use PriceMyPills to get more patients to your pharmacy, you must register your business as a member.
To become a member, simply register and login to the pharmacy portal and pay a monthly or annual membership fee to start using the benefits offered by PriceMyPills.
At PriceMyPills our ultimate objective is to provide any patient with maximum savings on their prescription. They don’t need to have insurance to use our services. Even if they do have insurance, a high- or low-copay does not matter to use the services offered by PriceMyPills. As a pharmacy, you have the independence to choose or not choose the prescription for which you would like to bid for an estimate.

How safe is my data with PriceMyPills?

We know the importance of data and to secure it, we use 256-bit encryption for data encryption.
Absolutely not! We don’t use data for marketing purposes.
